From the Rector

Rev. Stephanie Shockley

Welcome to the Church of the Holy Cross, an Episcopal church in the Diocese of New Jersey. Holy Cross has a long history of praising God and serving North Plainfield. We are grateful for the opportunity to build on that legacy of faith today.

Our parish is a diverse group of people who come together as a community to learn and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. We worship God, serve our neighbors, and walk alongside one another through good times and bad.

I am delighted that you have found us online. We hope you will come visit us in person very soon. At Holy Cross you will find friendly people offering warm hospitalty. Whatever you believe, whatever your doubts, and where ever life has taken you, we welcome you. If we can assist you in any way, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
